Project description:
I had the pleasure of working with director Jess Mountfield (jessmountfield.com) to bring the poem by Eve Atkinson to screen. The painterly, flowy style of ATAP was achieved within a very tight turnaround. The 13 shots I worked on were hand-painted in Procreate.
After the After Party will be screened at the BBC Contains Strong Language festival in Birmingham (September 2022).

My animated film pitch, 'A Closer Look', was one of 12 films out of 70+ chosen to get produced.
In my final year, I worked in a tight-knit team of 6 as Director, Lead Animator, and Lead Compositor. Having a leadership role and working within tight deadlines has taught me to prioritize tasks and be efficient in the way I work. While I did my best to support my teammates, they in turn made me appreciate the importance of opening up to new ideas.

In my two years at PCA, I gained a deep understanding of digital art and design practices. I was focused on learning the Adobe Creative Suite, while also taking specialist courses outside of my major, such as Sound Design and Ethics in Art.

I specialized in 2D hand-drawn animation in university, but since then have expanded my skillset to include 3D character animation + modelling in Blender + Maya
